Our rules at Bearley Lakes are based on those of many fisheries:
Please keep gates closed at all times.
Anglers must have current Environment Agency (EA) rod license.
Only landing nets, slings and cradles provided by Bearley Lakes must be used.
Bait boats are permitted.
Anglers must be responsible for all litter in and around their swim.
Fishing from designated pegs only.
No fish to be removed or introduced to the water.
Plastic baits and nuts are both banned from use.
No more than three rods are permitted for angling unless authorized.
There will be no sacking or retention of fish.
All fish must be returned using the weigh slings provided
Do not stand up holding the fish whilst photographing.
No shock-leaders, braided main line, lead core or leaders of any kind to be used for fishing.
Micro barbed or barbless hooks only. Bent hooks are not to be used.
No excess alcohol, fires, swimming or loud music.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES ABOVE WILL RESULT IN THE
INDIVIDUAL BEING ASKED TO LEAVE AND BANNED FROM THE LAKES ON A
PERMANANT BASIS WITHOUT REFUND.
