Our newly established 2 acre Rowan Lake is exclusively for use by bookings with the caravan accommodation. The lake contains 180 carp to 26lb including mirrors, commons, ghost and koi. There are also pike, chub, roach, rudd and perch to provide a variety of fishing.
There are 5 well spaced wood chipped swims (including the double swim outside the caravan). The lake has a large island and reed lined margins. The lake has a variety of depths from 2ft – 10ft, providing anglers a shallower part of the lake to catch fish at close quarters. You will have the whole lake exclusively to yourself with freedom to fish where you want.
Good quality nets, cradles and weigh slings are provided for your stay and we sell good quality bait and pellet, please contact us for more details. There is an excellent local tackle shop in Yeovil, which is 6 miles away.
Situated on the banks of our Rowan Lake at Bearley, our fully serviced, 2 bedroom caravan overlooks the Somerset levels. Our caravan contains the following to make your stay comfortable and relaxing:
Master double bedroom with en-suite toilet.
Twin bedroom with separate shower and toilet.
Quilts, sheets, pillows, towels and shower mat are all provided for your stay. Your beds will be made for your arrival.
Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, gas hob, fridge freezer, kettle, microwave, cutlery, utensils and toaster.
Large living room with panoramic views over the lake and Somerset levels.
32" freeview TV and DVD player, we also provide a selection of dvds and books, which you can watch from the large corner sofa.
There is No Wi-Fi connection in the caravan although 4G is no problem dependent on your network.
Next to the caravan is a large gravel double swim with small solar lights. Closely located to the swim is the lockable tackle shed with bait fridge/freezer, chairs and lighting.
Outside the caravan is a large patio area with a large picnic bench and BBQ.
